Cape Marco

Cape Marco was developed on the southwestern tip of Marco Island. The site was formally utilized by the United States' government and contained various environmental concerns. Forge was engaged in a remediation program that involved investigation, identification, and removal of hazardous components. Subsequent involvement over the next 10 years consisted of geotechnical, CoMET, and forensic engineering services.

Airport Hangar

Forge was engaged to perform a Phase I site Assessment on this property followed by a partial Phase II investigation of site contaminants. The site sits adjacent to an area that had previously been used for miscellaneous land filling. A site contamination investigation was completed with monitoring well installation and a complete range of ground water and soil sampling and laboratory testing.

Abandoned Garden Commercial Center

Forge was engaged to perform a pre-purchase Phase I site Assessment on this abandoned garden center property. The Phase I found the likelihood of site contamination and was therefore followed by a partial Phase II investigation to determine if site contaminants existed. A site contamination investigation was completed with monitoring well installation and a complete range of ground water and soil sampling and laboratory testing. The results of the Phase II investigation found that no further actions were required.

Industrial Site Soil Cleanup

Forge was retained to investigate and define the limits of a petroleum spill at an industrial site. It was determined that a quantity of soil was indeed contaminated and that the site required a soil removal cleanup program. We directed the cleanup process and completed the required post cleanup testing to document the remediation of the site.

Residential Development Above Ground Impoundment (lake) Inspection/Certification

A residential development was cited by the South Florida Water Management District for lake bank non-compliance. Forge was retained by the development to perform annual inspections of their impoundments/lakes and to provide the required certification following the completion of Forge developed remediation recommendations.
